Monochromatic Rosy Thanks
It's hockey night again here (game 3 in the Capitals/Penguins playoff series--go Caps!), so I'll keep this quick so I can get back to the game. I made this card for today's SCS sketch challenge using all SU! supplies.
I used my old favorite Priceless for the main image. The butterfly and swirl images are stamped in Regal Rose Craft ink on a Pink Pirouette panel. I stamped the butterfly a second time on a scrap of vellum, covered it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heat embossed it, then cut it out and added it to the image panel.
I paired the feminine image with two papers from the Raspberry Tart paper pack. I like the colors and patterns in this pack, but for some reason, I've had a hard time using them. I'm glad I found a way to work with them on this card.
The circular sentiment panel is stamped with the "thanks so much" sentiment from the Think Happy Thoughts set. I added a small Rose Red felt flower to the center of the panel, held in place with a silver brad.
Materials Used (all from Stampin' Up!):
Priceless and Think Happy Thoughts stamp sets, Regal Rose Classic ink, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, and Rose Red cardstock, vellum, Raspberry Tart designer series paper, Iridescent Ice embossing powder, Rose Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, eyelet border punch, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches, Flower Fusion felt flower, silver brad, dimensional
