Kitchen Sink Monday: Sparkly Day

Here's my card for this week's Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday. I used this week's sketch challenge from Paper Craft Planet for the design for my card. Susanna gave us a fun sketch and template to play with. You can find the template in the sketch challenge group at PCP.

This star-shaped sketch was the perfect match for the Playful Stars set. I traced the template on Ballet Blue cardstock and cut it out. I used the star border strip from the Playful Stars set to stamp a border around the edges of the blue star. I used Opalite Sterling Frost ink for a subtle, sparkly look. I found some sparkly star paper for the panel inside the large star.

I stamped the "hope your day sparkles" sentiment from Ready 4 Any Holiday to fit inside a circle (love that about clear stamps!), then added a small stamped star image as an embellishment.
