Meet Real Estate Darling

The At Home Collection from Clear & Simple Stamps will be released tomorrow. Here's another sneak peek at one of the sets in the collection. This one features one of CSS's signature Darling images--Real Estate Darling.

The Real Estate Darling set includes the Darling standing next to a blank sign that can be "personalized" for a number of occasions using the sentiments included with the set--or other sets as needed. My first card uses the sign in a traditional way--a sale sign!

The Darling image is paper pieced with a combination of solid and patterned papers. The rest of the image is colored with Copic markers. I stamped "sold" inside the sign the Darling's leaning against. I added a circle with the "thanks for your business" sentiment to the top right section of the image panel. This would make a nice thank you for a realtor to send to a customer who's just purchased a house.

Materials Used:

Real Estate Darling stamp set (Clear & Simple Stamps); white Pure Luxury cardstock (Gina K Designs); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze cardstock, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze Patterns designer series paper, Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain ribbon, 1 ¼” and 1 3/8” circle punches, silver brads, dimensionals (Stampin’ Up!); patterned paper (K & Company)

This card shows the same Darling image used for a completely different purpose--just by changing the sentiment used along with the image.

Here, I colored the Darling image to coordinate with the pretty Amy Butler patterned paper I used on the card base. I stamped the "just moved" sentiment inside the sign. I embellished the image with a big lime green Prima flower.

Materials Used:

Here's one final look at the Real Estate Darling set. I used the small house image included in the set to create a key chain perfect for a new home owner.

I stamped the house image repeatedly in a brown and red pattern on cream cardstock. A strip of twill ribbon divides the images from the message. The "welcome to your new home" sentiment is stamped below the twill. So that the panel would slide inside the acrylic key chain, I didn't add any other embellishments.
