Chicken Girl Designs Stamps Are Here

Today's the big day! The first Chicken Girl Designs stamp sets are now available from i {heart} papers. I have one more card to share with you today using images from the Hugs from a Bug set before I give you a look at both of the sets.

The bee image is colored with Copic markers. Its wings are filled in with some Diamond Stickles for a little sparkle. I used the small grass stamps included in the set along with stipple brushes and ink to fill in the scene’s grass and sky. The flower is also colored with Copic markers. I stamped it a second time, cut it out, and coated it with Butter Cream Shimmerz paint. After it dried, I added it to the scene with a dimensional.

I used a piece of designer paper from Basic Grey’s Lime Rickey line to create the panel beneath the stamped image. I added the “bee my honey” sentiment on a coordinating Pumpkin Pie panel. A small knotted piece of orange glimmer ribbon adds just a little more sparkle.

Here's a look at both of the new releases. The first one is Hugs from a Bug. I love the fun sentiments in this one.

And, here's the second one set, Into the Forest. This one has a fun mix of forest creatures and sentiments--perfect for making a simple scene.
