All Systems Go

It’s the first of the month and time for a new template reveal from Clear & Simple Stamps. Each month, CSS shares a brand new, free template on its website. For this month, Sue has designed a fun robot template (download it here) that coordinates perfectly with this month’s stamp of the month, Get in Gear. You can use the code DTBlog909 for a $1 discount on your purchase of this cute robot themed set.

Today also marks the start of a new featured Copic marker bundle at CSS. For September the bundle will include the Copic Trio Set: Blue 1 Copic Marker Bundle . You can purchase the marker trio along with the SOTM for the bargain price of $26 - that's a $15 stamp set and $15 Copic Marker Trio set combined at a $4 reduction in price - you won't find a better bundle anywhere! (HINT HINT...it will will be $25 if using the DTBlog $1 discount code too).

Here’s my version of the robot. I used bold primary colors (red and blue) for the head and body with shimmery silver accent pieces. I used a circle punch to make the features that I used to assemble the robot’s face. There’s a clear window in the robot’s body, providing a peek at the robot’s inner workings. Instead of real nuts and bolts, I filled the body with metallic pony beads for a fun look. The center panel is stamped with the “all systems go” sentiment from the Get in Gear set. Wouldn’t this make a cute table centerpiece for a little boy’s birthday party?
