Krafty Boo to You

I used Dawn’s latest color challenge as the basis for creating this fun Halloween card. I'll be adding it to this month's Paper Craft Planet DT gallery since it fits our Fall into Fun theme perfectly. I am loving the images in Papertrey Ink’s new Boo to You set, so I paired them with the challenge colors--cream, kraft, Summer Sunrise, and Dark Chocolate.

I used the star border image from the Boo to You set to make my own patterned paper panel for the bottom portion of the card. The image is stamped in Vintage Cream ink on Summer Sunrise ink, just slightly offset in each row for interest. I added a paper pierced Dark Chocolate strip along the bottom and a strip of dotted Dark Chocolate ribbon across the top. The “Happy Halloween” sentiment is stamped in matching Dark Chocolate ink on a cream cardstock strip.

The happy jack-o-lantern is stamped in Summer Sunrise ink with Dark Chocolate details. I layered the image on a Dark Chocolate circle to make it pop, then attached it to the card with dimensionals.

Materials Used:
Boo to You stamp set, Summer Sunrise, Dark Chocolate, and Vintage Cream Palette inks, Summer Sunrise, Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream, and Kraft cardstock, Dark Chocolate Swiss dot ribbon, Summer Sunrise button, twine, dimensionals (Papertrey Ink); mat pack and paper piercing tool, 1 ¾” circle punch, dimensionals (Stampin’ Up!); circle punch (Marvy Uchida)
