Spook-tacular Chandelier
Here's my card for today's SCS featured stamper challenge. Today's featured gallery is Rachel's, a fellow Blogger Challenge player, so that makes the challenge even more fun.
I based my card for the challenge on this one in Rachel's gallery. I used a chandelier image from the DoodleFactory Classic Decor set from Starving Artistamps as my focal image. The chandelier is colored with Copic markers and highlighted with some sparkly Stickles.
I added some spooky velvet spider stickers hanging from the chandelier. Each spider is embellished with a pair of teeny tiny rhinestone eyes for more sparkle. I fit the Halloween sentiment underneath the spooky scene. The scene's layered on a Crushed Curry mat for a pop of color, then set on a black card base. The empty upper right corner is filled in with a ribbon-embellished button, just like in Rachel's original version.
Don't forget, you can use the code savetenLT to save 10% on your DoodleFactory and Starving Artistamps stamp purchases at Starving Artistamps.
Materials Used:
DoodleFactory Classic Decor stamp set, Witch's Brew sentiments (Starving Artistamps); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Crushed Curry, Basic Black, and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); velvet spider stickers (Stampendous); Stardust Stickles (Ranger); Tiny Twinkles (Taylored Expressions); black button (Papertrey Ink); black dotted ribbon (Michaels)
