Blogger Challenge: Week 125
This week’s blogger challenge theme is Happy Fall, Y’all. I turned to one of my favorite all-season Stampin’ Up! sets for this pretty fall card.
Branch Out is such a versatile set—it works for all seasons and many occasions! Here, I stamped the tree in Close to Cocoa craft ink on a kraft panel, then added leaves to the tree and on the ground using Pumpkin Pie and Apricot Appeal craft inks. I love the look of craft ink on kraft cardstock! The “thank you” sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set fit nicely under the tree in matching brown ink. I used Close to Cocoa Classic ink to sponge around the edges of the cardstock panel for some depth.
I punched a slot in the image panel with my horizontal slot punch and threaded a scrap of twill through the slot. The twill is tied with some twine and decorated with a wood button. The natural textures of the twine, twill, and button go nicely with the feel of the image.
