Hop-py Birthday Wishes
Here's your very first look at Birthday Wishes, the latest Chicken Girl Design stamp set, available on November 16 exclusively at i {heart} papers. I think this fun birthday themed set might be my favorite Chicken Girl set yet!
I used the cute bunny image along with the set's balloon image for this free-standing pop up card. The bunny is colored with Copic markers and has a white flocked cotton-tail. The balloon was stamped a second time on a scrap of cardstock, colored, and cut out. I attached it to the panel with a dimensional and covered it with some Glossy Accents for a shiny look. I added a pair of layered circles with a bright pink bow to serve as a pull-tab when the card is collapsed.
The card's base is decorated with a coordinating panel of striped paper from October Afternoon's Ducks in a Row collection. I stamped the "hop-py birthday" sentiment in rose ink on a white scrap, matted it on a matching panel, then attached it to the front of the base.
Be sure to check out the rest of the Chicken Girl Design team for more sneak peeks leading up to next week's release. Here's where to find them:
