Live Out Loud
Here's my card for today's SCS featured stamper challenge. I was inspired by this clean and simple card.
Instead of placing pearls along the bottom of the panel, I added a trio along the left side of the image panel. The panel is matted on coordinating cardstock and attached to the cardfront with foam tape.
My card uses an image that's similar to the one in the original card from the Clear & Simple Stamps Life Life set. I stamped the image in white pigment ink on a brown panel and instead of embossing, I dusted on some pearly chalks for a shimmery look. So pretty IRL! I re-used a used dryer sheet to wipe away the excess chalks--good thing my washer and dryer are so close to my craft room--LOL!
Instead of placing pearls along the bottom of the panel, I added a trio along the left side of the image panel. The panel is matted on coordinating cardstock and attached to the cardfront with foam tape.
I replaced the white card base in the original version with a Sahara Sand one that's an almost perfect match for the color of the chalk I used. The set's "live out loud" sentiment is stamped in matching brown ink beneath the image panel.
Materials Used:
Live Life stamp set (Clear & Simple Stamps); Fresh Snow and Dark Chocolate inks (Papertrey Ink); Chocolate Chip and Sahara Sand cardstock (Stampin' Up!); shimmer chalks (Pebbles inc.); self-adhesive pearls (KaiserCraft)
