Welcome to the Starving Artistamps New Release Blog Hop
and One Day Only Blog Candy Giveway!

We are so excited to present our newest release...

DoodleFactory Arctic
http://starvingartistamps.com/doodlefactory_arctic.html

You are going to want to visit all the stops on our hop because someone is giving away a complete unmounted set of the new release for blog candy! We are keeping the blog candy open for one day only so your chances of winning are even better! (blog candy ends 11am PST December 8th, 2009 the winner will be announced on or before December 9th 2009). If you have arrived here on your own and are just finding out about the blog hop you should start here at the Starving Artistamps blog: http://www.starvingartistamps.blogspot.com/

Let's start with something seasonal. Here's Mooth the moose, all dressed up for the holidays. Check out those Dew Drop ornaments decorating his antlers (is that what they're called on a moose??) . . .

Now, on to something clean and simple. When I saw the fish image, I immediately thought about it jumping out of the water in celebration. That's what I was going for here. The fish is coated with some Shimmerz for lots of sparkle and springs from the Glossy Accents coated water hole. I added the "go for it!" sentiment from Urban #2 sentiments to finish the card.

This one features the superstar skier Dodge. I set Dodge on a background with embossed snowflakes and shimmery, snow-covered mountains in the background. The set's "freezy does it" sentiment seemed like a good match for Dodge. I put it on a kraft flag that extends just a bit beyond the edge of the card.

And, no Arctic set would be complete without a penguin (or two or three). Here's my card featuring the largest of the set's trio of penguins. I used the iceberg images to make a backdrop for the penguin. The silly sentiment comes from the Tropics Sentiment set.

And, I'll leave you with a final clean and simple card. Here, I created a shimmery snowscape for the small igloo image. I punched holes for a trio of heart brads to make heart-shaped smoke puffs coming from the top of the igloo. Okay, I know that smoke puffs aren't red, but give me a little creative leeway, okay? The "home sweet home" from the Fairytale Sentiments set is stamped beneath it in red pigment ink.

Thanks for stopping by. The next stop on the hop is Lydia and I know she has some fabulous stuff to show you. Just in case you get lost somewhere along the way, here is the complete list of stops:
