Floral Sympathy

Here's my card for today's SCS featured stamper challenge. It's based on this sympathy card seen here.

I kept the same theme (sympathy) and layout, but changed up the colors and images in my version. I used a combination of images from Papertrey Ink's Turning a New Leaf, Everyday Classics (last year's anniversary set), and Beyond Basic Borders for the image panel. The leaf image is stamped in Ripe Avocado ink and the flowers are added in Lavender Moon ink. A tiny dot of pink Liquid Pearls is at the center of each flower. The sympathy sentiment is stamped in slightly darker Plum Pudding ink.

For the cardfront, I embossed a Lavender Moon panel with SU!'s Finial Press embossing folder. The delicate pattern is a nice match for the stamped soft floral image. A strip of grosgrain ribbon runs down the front of the embossed panel and the image panel is set on top of it.

Materials Used:
Turning a New Leaf, Everyday Classics, and Beyond Basic Borders stamp sets, Ripe Avocado, Lavender Moon, and Plum Pudding cardstock, Ripe Avocado, Lavender Moon, and Plum Pudding inks, Plum Pudding grosgrain ribbon (Papertrey Ink); Finial Press embossing folder (Stampin' Up!); Pink Petal Liquid Pearls (Ranger)
