Have a Rockin' Day

In honor of tonight's Grammy Awards, I have a musical themed card to share this morning. It uses one of the new Clear & Simple Stamps sets that I picked up while working the CSS booth last weekend at CHA. It's called MP3 Darling. The set's not up on the site yet, but coming soon, so consider this a sneak peek. I combined the iPod image with some of CSS's new papers and inks and Mercy's latest sketch challenge for this one.

I stamped the iPod image in the new Little Black Dress ink on white cardstock. The image is colored just a bit with Copic markers. I stamped the image again on some shimmery silver paper and cut parts of the image out to do some paper piecing. The "have a rockin' day" sentiment fit underneath the image.

I used a piece of Piggy Tales designer paper to cover most of the cardfront. The musical themed images work perfectly with the images. The panels are set on a card base made from You're Such a Gray-cious Host cardstock. Love the fun names for the colors in this new line!

Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see February's new template of the month from Clear & Simple Stamps, along with the reveal of February's Stamp of the Month and the featured Copic Trio.

Materials Used:
MP3 Darling stamp set, Perfect Little Black Dress ink, Little Black Dress, You're Such a Gray-cious Host, and A Blanc Check cardstock (Clear & Simple Stamps); designer paper (Piggy Tales-Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star line); silver paper (Target); markers (Copic); Classic Stars border punch (Martha Stewart)
