Stuck on You
Here’s a sweet card for this week’s Taylored Expressions sketch challenge. It features one of my favorite Clear & Simple Stamps images, the gumball machine from the Sweet Tooth stamp set.
The gumball machine is colored with Copic markers. To get the glassy look for the globe portion of the image, I stamped it on a piece of acetate and cut the globe section out. I attached it to the colored image with teeny, tiny dots of Glossy Accents on a few of the gumballs.
The image is paired with papers from October Afternoon’s Night Light Collection Kit. The bright, fun colors and patterns in the papers are perfect for the gumball machine image. I added a red ribbon, knotted around the striped panel, and a small strip with the coordinating “stuck on you” sentiment to complete the card.
Materials Used:
Sweet Tooth stamp set (Clear & Simple Stamps); Ocean Mist, Crème de Menthe, and white cardstock (Gina K Designs); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Riding Hood Red cardstock, word window punch (Stampin’ Up!); Smokey Shadow ink (Papertrey Ink); Jet Black ink (StazOn); Night Light Collection Kit (October Afternoon); circle dies (Nestabilities); red grosgrain ribbon (Michaels); foam tape; acetate
