Valentine for a Fungi

Here’s my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I am really enjoying the images in this month’s Unity Stampin’ Store Kit, {livin’ and lovin’ life}. I used a pair of images from the kit on this masculine Valentine’s Day card.

I stamped the mushroom image and matching sentiment in black ink on a cream panel, then cut out the panel with an oval Nestabilities die. I used Copic markers in shades of green to color in the mushroom and accented the heart with a little glitter from my Lipstick Spica pen.

I used some My Mind’s Eye patterned paper for the large panel on the right side of the card. A polka dot embossed panel is on the left side. Both panels and the image are matted with celery cardstock to bring in some more green. I knotted a piece of brown faux suede ribbon around the dotted panel, then assembled all of the pieces.
