I had this gear patterned paper in my stash. The pattern and bold colors worked great with the robot image. The paper’s from Scenic Route. I really like their papers and was disappointed to learn that they’re shutting down . . . I added the “happy birthday” sentiment in black ink on the red strip across the cardfront, accented with a single silver brad. I left off the trio of embellishments along the left side of the card—they would have gotten lost in the pattern anyway. And, Shannan never sticks to a sketch anyway, so I figured it would be okay with her—LOL!
Materials Used:
KiloWATT and happy birthday sentiment (Stamping Bella); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Night of Navy and Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); designer paper (Scenic Route); Stars embossing folder (Cuttlebug); oval dies (Nestabilities); silver brad (Making Memories); silver gel pen
Your Bellarific card is terrific! Love the bold colors and cute little robot! Hope you are warm and safe this snow-filled Saturday!
ReplyDeleteOMG Lori - I love the tin foil technique! I've seen that Stars folder...but now I really must get it.
ReplyDeleteThat gear paper and embossed star paper is such a perfect touch. I have a little boy...and he'd love it! You do good work! :)
