Check It Out, Chickie

Yes, that's right! The very first iPhone/iTouch app for papercrafters is now available! Click on the link in the photo above to be directed to the App Store to download it to your own phone.

Here's what you'll find in the Clear and Simple Stamps app:
- New projects each and every day
- Step-by-step directions
- Ability to buy direct from the store on your mobile device
- Bonus downloads and sneak peeks only available on the iPhone

You can also submit your own projects created with CSS stamps to be considered for publication on the app. Just like you would for a magazine publication, you can now submit for publication and be seen around the world in an instant on the CSS app. You can find all the details about that here.

Before you go off to buy the app, take a look at this cute card featuring the chick image from this month's Stamp of the Month, Best Bunnies. The cute little chick takes center stage in this clean and simple card.

I colored the chick with Copic markers and carefully cut it out. It’s attached to a turquoise circle with some foam tape. I stamped the image on the circle, too, so that I wouldn’t have to worry about trimming around the legs of the image I had colored. The yellow really stands out against the turquoise backdrop!

I paired the chick with some dotted patterned paper from October Afternoon’s Ducks in a Row collection. I ran a strip of coordinating yellow paper across the cardfront, edged with a rose scalloped strip, then layered the chick image at one end. The “hello chickie” sentiment is stamped in turquoise at the opposite end of the yellow strip.

Materials Used:
Best Bunnies stamp set (Clear & Simple Stamps); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Tempting Turquoise Classic ink, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, and Regal Rose cardstock, scallop edge punch (Stampin’ Up!); designer paper (October Afternoon-Ducks in a Row line); circle die (Nestabilities); silver brad (Making Memories); foam tape
