The Frozen Four, Not the Final Four

This weekend, while lots of people are intently watching basketball and checking their brackets to see how they’re doing, I’m focused on an entirely different sport. Yesterday marked the start of the road to college hockey’s version of the Final Four, appropriately called the Frozen Four. I’ve gone to two Frozen Fours now and I can say that it is a fabulous event to attend. College hockey has an amazing atmosphere that the pro game just can’t duplicate. I have high hopes that my school, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will make it to the big showdown and ultimately bring home their seventh national championship. They made it through the first round late last night and will play again tonight.
