I went pretty simple here using a new set from Papertrey Ink. I arranged several of the images from the Springtime Doodles set at the lower right corner of a kraft panel. The images are stamped in white ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The pencil colors look so nice against the kraft background!I stamped the "thinking of you" sentiment in red ink on a yellow scrap and accented it with a button. The finished stamped panel is layered on a pale green card base.
If you play along with this week's sketch, be sure to upload your card to the PCP gallery using the keyword sk032010. I think there might even be a prize for one lucky participant this week . . .
Materials Used:
Springtime Doodles stamp set, Pure Poppy and Fresh Snow inks, Lemon Tart cardstock, Lemon Tart button, twine (Papertrey Ink); kraft cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Creme de Menthe cardstock (Gina K Designs); Prismacolor pencils
