Something Simple

Here's my card for today's clean and simple challenge on SCS. I pulled this together while the puppy was sleeping, recovering from her first visit to the vet. She was a big hit at the vet's office. My vet did tell her right off that she has some pretty big shoes to fill, following in Cosmo the crazy dog's footsteps!

One of my co-workers is moving to a brand new home next month, so I used the challenge to get a card ready to give her once the move's complete. I used some images from the SU! Good Neighbors set to make the trio of panels across the cardfront. The images are layered on a moss panel, then on a strip of striped patterned paper. I slid a scallop edged panel underneath the bottom edge of the striped paper, then wrapped a strip of brown grosgrain ribbon around the card. The "congratulations" sentiment from Congrats (from last year's Sale-a-bration) is stamped at the bottom of the card in brown ink.

Materials Used:
Good Neighbors and Congrats stamp sets, Blue Bayou and Mellow Moss Classic inks, Blue Bayou, Mellow Moss, and Very Vanilla cardstock, Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, scallop edge punch (Stampin' Up!); designer paper (Upsy Daisy); Rich Cocoa ink (Memento)
