Green and Simple Baby

This clean and simple card features Rock-a-Bye, the April Stamp of the Month from Clear & Simple Stamps, and two other brand new CSS products. First is the newest color story in the CSS line, Green with Envy. Cardstock, ink, ribbon, and buttons are all available in this great shade of green. And, check out the fun die cut shape I’ve used as the focal image on my card. This die matches the label outline in the Rock-a-Bye set and the label shape in the winter favorite Cup of Cocoa set, too.

For this card, I stamped the label outline image in Green with Envy ink on the die cut, then stamped the “baby” sentiment inside the outline. I set the stamped die cut on a Green with Envy panel, stamped repeatedly with the star background bar image in coordinating ink. I ran a piece of Green with Envy satin ribbon from the top of the card to the top of the die cut, then added a button-embellished bow to the top. So cute, and easy, too.

I have another clean and simple baby card featured on the CSS iPhone app. Here's a sneak peek for you. Be sure to check out the app to see the full card and complete directions.

Materials Used:
Rock-a-Bye stamp set, Green with Envy ink, Green with Envy and A Blanc Check cardstock, Green with Envy satin ribbon, die cut, button (Clear & Simple Stamps); twine (Papertrey Ink)

  3. I was really looking for the blog hop post but this one was the closest I could find to the Clear & Simple stamps. Your card is very pretty. I hope I did this correctly for the blog hop.
