I stamped three of the school-related images on a Nestabilities Labels 9 panel. I did a bit of masking using Eclipse tape to get the arrangement I wanted. The images are colored with Copic markers. I stamped and colored the apple a second time, then cut it out and added it to the scene with some foam tape. The panel is matted on a larger Labels 9 panel.
I used the argyle patterned paper from October Afternoon’s Report Card collection to cover most of the cardfront. A strip of solid gray cardstock runs across the card. I dressed it up a bit with a strip of silvery satin ribbon, then layered the stamped image panel on the card using foam tape. I didn’t really have room for a sentiment on the outside, so I’ll add something on the inside. Maybe I’ll take this one with me the next time I visit my best friend’s little boy’s kindergarten classroom or maybe I’ll save it to give to him at the end of the school year as a congratulations for finishing kindergarten card . . .
