All Warm and Toasty

I think this sheep image from the latest release from The Cat’s Pajamas is just the cutest thing. I inked it up for this week’s TCP Tuesday sketch challenge and went with an (almost) all pink color scheme for this month’s TCP Think Pink blog hop, too.

I stamped the sheep on a white panel and colored it with Copic markers, then carefully cut it out. It’s layered on a rose panel using foam tape. I added a little pink Flower Soft “snow” to ground the image, too.

I used two pieces of paper from a K & Company Valentine’s Day paper pack for the panels on the cardfront. A piece of rose grosgrain ribbon runs across the top of the card, wrapped with some pink and white baker’s twine to add some texture.

I stamped the sentiment on a pink ribbon flag and attached it to the card, extending just a little beyond the right edge. A pink snowflake set just above the sentiment strip, dressed up with a button and some clear crystals, completed the card.

Materials Used:
Sheepish stamp set, pink baker’s twine (The Cat’s Pajamas); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Pink Pirouette and Regal Rose cardstock, Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon, silver cord (Stampin’ Up!); Perfect Little Black Dress ink, pink button (Clear and Simple Stamps); Ka-Zoo designer paper (K & Company); snowflake die (Papertrey Ink); clear crystals (Darice); foam tape; Baby Pink Flower Soft
