Here’s my card for this week’s Our Craft Lounge sketch challenge. I used the Penguin Fun set for this week’s sketch along with a pair of patterned papers from Cosmo Cricket’s Mitten Weather mini deck.
I colored the penguin image with Copic markers. The snowbank and snowball were outlined with some Stickles for a sparkly look.
After layering on the Mitten Weather panels, I knotted a piece of red crepe ribbon around the bottom of the cardfront. The colored image panel is layered over those pieces. I stamped the set’s “happy holidays” sentiment on a scrap of white and placed it at an angle at the top left corner of the image panel. For a little more sparkle, I punched a pair of snowflakes from a sheet of glittered paper and added them to the image panel along with an iridescent crystal at the centers.
