Drucilla and her “friend” are colored with Copic markers. I added a little sparkle to the barrettes in her hair with some Stickles, then carefully cut out the colored image.
I used simple rectangle layers for the rest of the card. I chose a patterned paper with hearts and swirly lines to go behind the image, then matted that panel on a soft pink one. I machine stitched around the edges of the pink panel before attaching it to the red card base. The image is attached with some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Valentine Willard set (omitting one of the “e’s” from the word “bee”) on a red strip and attached that underneath Drucilla’s feet. A felt heart with a red button sits at the opposite end of the strip.
