Spring Has Arrived at Clear and Simple Stamps
It’s time to introduce the February Stamp of the Month from Clear & Simple Stamps. This month’s set is Spring. This set features a collection of images that are perfect for many occasions including baby and bridal showers as well as get well and thinking of you cards. You’ll also want to check out the new, coordinating Spring Extras set. This set’s full of words and phrases you can mix and match to go along with the images in the Spring set.
Here’s a clean and simple card that features the new set in an out-of-the-box way (at least for me!). I used the set’s sun image to make a pair of pretty spring flowers. I stamped the image in Paint the Town Pink ink on scraps of matching paper and carefully cut them out. I built bright flowers with crimped strips of Green with Envy for stems and little pieces punched from circles for the leaves. The flowers have matching pink buttons at the centers, tied with some pink baker’s twine. I set them on a Trendsetter Blue circle, letting them extend both above and below the top of the panel. I attached the flowers to a white panel and added a sentiment flag, stamped with “you make me smile,” extending from the left side of the panel. The piece is layered on a green mat, then attached to a white card base.
I’ll have more samples featuring images from this set throughout the month. In the meantime, be sure to visit the rest of the CSS design team to see what they’ve created using the Spring stamp set. Here’s where to find them:
