Introducing Tweet Notes: Part 2
Here's another fun card featuring images from the new Tweet Notes set from Clear and Simple Stamps. There are so many possibilities with the images in this set! Here, I used the small bird images along with the set's bird cage to make this card for today's SCS sketch challenge.
I stamped the bird cage in gray ink, then added the line image birds in black. The birds are filled in with the matching solid images using pink ink. The set's "let's hang out" sentiment is stamped underneath the image in pink ink. For a whimsical touch, I added a green baker's twine bow to the top of the cage and extended another piece of twine from the bow to give the cage the appearance of being suspended from above.
I used a trio of coordinating patterned papers from KaiserCraft's Candy Lane line for the patchwork-like panel underneath the image. I machine stitched around the edges for interest, then layered the panel on a pink mat and white card base.
Be sure to check out the post below for another Tweet Notes card and links to the rest of the CSS design team so you can check out their Tweet Notes creations. I'll have one more Tweet Notes creation to share with you early tomorrow morning.
