Introducing Tweet Notes

It’s time to introduce the June Stamp of the Month from Clear and Simple Stamps. This month’s set is Tweet Notes—a set that includes different sized bird images, as well as a trendy birdcage image, and a variety of sentiments in a mix of great fonts.

Since June is traditionally a big month for weddings, I thought I’d share a pretty, love-themed card today. I used the set’s two large bird images to frame the “love birds” sentiment. The birds are colored with red Copic markers and the letters in the sentiment are shaded just the tiniest bit with a gray marker. I added a self-adhesive crystal heart between the birds for an elegant sparkle.

The birds are layered on a black mat and set against a red panel embossed with a polka dotted pattern. I ran a piece of wide red and white striped satin ribbon down the length of the panel and added a red satin bow just underneath the image panel. I’ve had this ribbon for a while now and have been waiting for just the right project to use it on—glad I was finally able to put it to use!

I’ll have more samples featuring images from this set throughout the month. In the meantime, be sure to visit the rest of the CSS design team to see what they’ve created using the Tweet Notes stamp set. Here’s where to find them:
