The set’s nest image is stamped in kraft ink on a white circle. I stamped the image a few times, slightly offset each time, for a more filled-in look. The two-step egg image—an outline and matching dotted eggs—are stamped in yellow ink, nestled inside the nest. I stamped the two step bird the same way—solid outline and stamped-off dotted image—then cut it out and perched it on the nest’s edge. I added a tiny pearl for an eye.
The stamped panel is set on a yellow dotted panel with machine-stitched edges, in a nod to the machine-stitched edges of the inspiration photo blanket. I wrapped a piece of TCP’s new seam binding around the panel and dressed it up with a button-embellished bow, tied with some linen thread. The “a little bird told me” sentiment is stamped on a tab made from the notched banner die included in the CutUps Simple Rosette die set.

Nesting stamp set, CutUps Simple Rosette die, seam binding, linen thread (The Cat’s Pajamas); Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze Classic inks, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Dots & Stripes designer papers (Echo Park); Memento Dandelion ink (Tsukineko); circle dies (Spellbinders); white pearl (Recollections); white button (Michaels); sewing machine; foam tape
So purdy. I love that you stamped off the nest several times. Not only does it fill in the nest, but it gives tons of dimension.
