Sneaky Peek Day 6: Away We Go
Today the Cat Pack and friends are sharing a sneak peek at the new Away We Go set from The Cat’s Pajamas. This set features a bunny in a trendy hot air balloon—how can you go wrong with that??
I made this card using this week’s Mojo Monday sketch. The bunny and balloon are colored with Copic markers. I stamped and colored the bunny a second time, cut him (or her?) out and used foam tape to attach it to the image. I set the whole thing on a dot embossed blue oval panel.
The dot theme carries over to the patterned paper I used to cover most of the cardfront. After attaching the image panel to the card, I stamped the matching sentiment in a purple ink for a nice, bold pop and slipped the panel’s edge underneath the oval’s edge. A single white felt cloud, die cut and cut apart from the long strip of clouds in the new CutUps Clouds Border die (I can't put this one down--it's a must-have!), and a button sun tied with yellow baker’s twine finish the cheery scene.
Alma has the complete list of designers sneaky peeking this set today, so be sure to check them out. And, plan to join us tomorrow night at 8 PM (eastern) in the TCP forum at SCS for our release Pajama Party.

Away We Go stamp set, Neenah Solar White cardstock, CutUps Cloud Border die, yellow Divine Twine (The Cat’s Pajamas); Memento Tuxedo Black and Grape Jelly inks (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Baja Breeze cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Simply Chartreuse cardstock, Simply Chartreuse grosgrain ribbon, Lemon Tart button (Papertrey Ink); Dots & Stripes designer paper (Echo Park); oval dies (Spellbinders); Polka Dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug); white felt; foam tape
