Just Roll with It
It's been a while since I inked up one of my Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, so I thought I'd give this week's challenge a try. It was a tough one--no embellishments (other than sewing)! I combined the challenge with this week's Cute Card Thursday sketch to come up with this one.
Without any embellishments, there's not much to say--LOL! I colored the roller skating Rhonda image with Copic markers and cut her out. She's set on an two-toned sky/ground oval panel. The image is layered on a piece of patterned paper with a kind of random circle pattern. I continued the circle element on the red strip that runs down the length of the card, stitching a punched yellow open circle strip along it for contrast. The coordinating "just roll with it" sentiment is stamped on a red panel, layered on a yellow mat, and set on the card with foam tape. Embellishment-free mission accomplished!
Materials Used:
Moonlight Whispers Rhonda image (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, and Basic Gray cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Soft Stone and Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Adlib 6x6 paper pad (BoBunny); petite oval dies (Spellbinders); circle punches (EK Success); foam tape; sewing machine

Very nice! I love the colours you have chosen and the background paper sets it off beautifully!
