Blogger Challenge: Week 216
This week’s blogger challenge theme is back to school. I made this fun school themed card using this week’s Mojo Monday sketch and a pair of school themed stamp sets from Our Craft Lounge.
I used the adorable bookworm peeking out of an apple from the Bookworm set as my focal image. The image is colored with Copic markers. A little Glossy Accents is dotted on the worm’s eyes for a fun touch.
I used a multicolored striped paper for the panel underneath the image. It’s edged with strips of green cardstock, matching both the stripes in the paper and the mat underneath the image. I set the patterned paper strip on a kraft panel with dot embossing at the bottom. After tying a piece of red grosgrain ribbon around the upper left corner of the panel, I attached it to a green card base. The “abc123” sentiment from the School Notes set is stamped along the top of the patterned paper panel in ink matching the kraft panel.
