I started with a white panel and stamped a pair of leafy branch images from Papertrey Ink’s Turning a New Leaf set in olive ink at opposite corners of the panel. I went back and added flowers to the branches, inking the stamp first in Yoyo Yellow ink, then rolling the corners in darker So Saffron ink for a subtle, two toned look. The center of each flower is dotted with White Opal Liquid Pearls.
The panel is edged with yellow and olive strips, then set on a gray card base. I added the sentiment on a vellum strip. An olive button at one end hides some of the adhesive. For the other side, I used Simple Adhesive from Clear and Simple Stamps—it’s virtually invisible under vellum!
I hope you’ll give this pretty color scheme a try. Be sure to link up your creation on the CTD blog so we can all check it out.
