Blogger Challenge: Week 222
This week’s blogger challenge theme is travel. I pulled out one of my traveling bunnies from The Cat’s Pajamas and paired the image with this week’s Mojo Monday sketch (more on that later in the post . . .).
I colored the airplane flying rabbit from the Take Off set with Copic markers, then cut the colored image out. It’s set on a blue patterned paper panel using foam tape. I added a pair of white felt clouds from TCP’s CutUps Cloud Border die. The set’s “let’s fly away” sentiment is stamped on a kraft banner strip (the strip’s from another CutUps die set—the Easy Rosettes). It’s switched up from where it is on the sketch, but I think it still counts . . .
I used two large patterned paper scraps for the tilted panels behind the image. Instead of adding a cardstock mat, each one is machine stitched around the edges. Everything’s arranged on a dot-embossed aqua panel that’s set on a dark blue card base.
