For the card base, I covered a Kraft Like a Rockstar Green card base with a piece of multicolored grid patterned paper, then added a contrasting notch-ended strip across the card. The card base is a little narrower than a standard A2 card base to accommodate the brown on brown dotted strip that extends beyond the card's edge while still allowing the card to fit in a standard sized envelope.
The image panel is layered on a kraft scallop edged circle, then set on the dotted strip with foam tape. I stamped the "nuts about you" sentiment on a tiny strip of green cardstock and used more foam tape to attach it to the card.
I'm off to the dog park with Chloe the cutie puppy. With rain in the forecast for the next few days, we need to take advantage of today's warm, dry weather . . .
Materials Used:
Taglines stamp set, Dish All the Dirt Brown ink, Kraft Like a Rockstar Green, Kraft Like a Rockstar, and On the Catwalk Cream cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); Stella and Rose-Mabel 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); scalloped circle die (Spellbinders); circle punch (EK Success); corner rounder; foam tape
Love the image uncolored! It looks great against a bold background. Great colors for fall. Enjoy your walk with Chloe the cutie puppy.
