Sweet Treat

This week's CAS-ual Friday challenge is to make a clean and simple tag or a project with a tag. I used the new Tags 1 die from Clear and Simple Stamps along with the new Taglines set for this simple and sweet treat.

I used the large die from the Tags 1 set to cut two tags from pink dotted paper. After scoring each about 1/2" from the bottom edge, I folded along the score lines and attached the scored pieces, forming a triangle shape. I attached a small strip of red cardstock right above the score line on one side of the triangle, then stamped the "sweet treat" sentiment and little heart trio in red ink over the cardstock strip. To hold the pieces together, I punched a hole at the top and secured them with pink satin ribbon.

A single Hershey's Nugget chocolate fits perfectly inside the tag triangle--you can see the foil wrapper on the bottom right side of the photo if you look closely! It would be easy to make up a bunch of these for thinking of you gifts and party favors--just change up the colors, sentiment, and image to match your occasion.

Materials Used:
Taglines stamp set, Haute Red Couture ink, Dare to Be a Diva Red cardstock, Tags 1 die set, I’m a Princess Pink satin ribbon, Simple Adhesive (Clear and Simple Stamps); Tutu Pink designer paper (BoBunny)
