TCPTuesday186 and a Snowy Sneaky Peek

Today’s the start of Sneaky Peeks in anticipation of next week’s winter release from The Cat’s Pajamas. Each day until the big release on Tuesday, November 29, the Cat Pack will be showing off the newest additions to the TCP lineup.

I combined today’s Sneaky Peek with this week’s TCP Tuesday inspiration challenge, hosted by Jen. I took my cue from the muted colors of the images to create this card with the new Snow Days set, featuring my favorite bunny.

I colored the bunny in soft tan and pink tones, then added just a hint of pale blue to the snowballs. The edges of the image panel are inked with distress ink—got a little heavier than I would have liked on that . . . I went back and added a little glitter to the snow for a fun, sparkly touch.

I used one of the new seam binding colors, Tinsel—a pretty shimmery silver—to add some more sparkle to the otherwise muted design. A wood button embellished bow sits at the bottom of the image. I stamped the set’s snow days sentiment on a strip cut with the pennant part of the CutUps Easy Rosette die and set that at the bottom of the image panel, hiding the end underneath the bow.

Alma will have links to the rest of the members of the Cat Pack who are peeking this set today. Be sure to join us for the challenge for your chance to win this week’s Cat Cash prize—you’ll want some $$ to pick up your favorites from the new release! And, be sure to stop by the In It To Win It thread on SCS and leave a comment (or two or three--or more!) for a chance to win one of the new release sets.
