Thankful Thoughts

This week's Our Craft Lounge challenge is to make a thank you card. I used the Fall Sunflower set along with this week's Mojo Monday sketch for this seasonal thank you.

This card came together pretty quickly with the help of a few scraps and the colored sunflower image. I used the flower portion (and a pair of leaves) as my focal image. The image is colored with Copic markers and the center's filled in with some Sparkly Fluff.

I set the flower at the top of a trio of layered paper strips. I mixed and matched different patterns (gingham from a My Mind's Eye paper pad), textures (corduroy ribbon), and colors on a kraft panel that I inked along the edges with distress ink. The "thankful thoughts" sentiment is stamped in orange ink on a gold panel and accented with a pair of copper brads.

Link up your thank you card creations to this week's challenge post on the OCL blog for a chance to win an OCL set. The winner will be randomly selected at the end of the month from all of the challenge participants. You have until Thursday night to enter this week's challenge.
