Bundle of Joy

The latest Lawnscaping challenge is a great sketch that’s perfect for a clean and simple design. Here’s my gender neutral baby themed take on the sketch.

I used the stork from Lawn Fawn’s Plus One set as my focal image. The stork’s stamped on white cardstock, colored a bit with Copic markers and cut out. I used dimensional dots to attach it to a yellow dotted panel.

The image panel is set over a yellow card base that I covered with a soft plaid patterned paper—the just a bit bolder than pastel color combination and weathered look seemed to work for a baby card—and a coordinating solid blue cardstock panel. A piece of lace tape hides the seam between the two papers. I combined several of the set’s sentiment pieces to create the congratulatory sentiment at the bottom of the card.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Lawn Fawn Plus One stamp set, X-Press white Copic blending cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic markers (YR12, YR15, YR30, Y21, Y23, Y26, B0000), My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline-Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad, Love My Tapes adhesive lace tape, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other: So Saffron and Baja Breeze cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
