The inspiration photo for this month’s Papertrey Ink blog hop features a green and black color scheme with some bold patterns. I took my inspiration from the colors and the look of the multiple layers of dishes stacked one on top of the other to create this birthday card.
For the focal image, I stamped the label from the Happy Day set on a matching die cut piece. The set's "birthday wishes" sentiment is stamped in the center of the panel. After setting the panel in place, I accented it with a button embellished bow. It's been a while since I've done one of these bows and I'd forgotten how nice they look!
Materials Used:
Happy Day stamp set, Simply Chartreuse ink, Simply Chartreuse and White cardstock, Black and White Basics patterned paper, Happy Day die, Simply Chartreuse grosgrain ribbon (Papertrey Ink); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); black button (Michaels); white paper doily (Wilton); black baker's twine (Divine Twine)
