Wishing You Joy
Here's my card for today's SCS clean and simple challenge. Instead of using paper pieces for the sketch's banner elements, I used stamped images--a trio of long, hanging ornaments.
The ornaments are from the J*lly H*liday set from The Cat's Pajamas. I stamped them in black ink on a white panel and colored them with Copic markers in a festive red, then used a fine-tipped black pen to draw a line to "suspend" the ornament from the top of the card. The set's "wishing you j*y" sentiment is stamped in the bottom right corner. I filled in the gap between the j and the y with another ornament. To give all of the ornaments a little shine, I covered them with a thin coating of Glossy Accents. The panel is layered on a red card base to make a contrasting frame.
Materials Used:
J*lly H*liday stamp set (The Cat's Pajamas); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers, black multi-liner pen (Copic); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Glossy Accents (Ranger)
