How You Bean?

This week’s Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge theme is “keep cozy.” Well, nothing says cozy to me like a warm bathrobe, so I used the Moonlight Whispers Angie image as the focal image for my cozy card.

Angie is colored with Copic markers. I added some white flock to the edges of the robe for a fluffy, fuzzy look. Since she’s holding a mug in her hands, I stamped the “how you bean” sentiment along the edge of the image panel before layering it on a pale pink panel. I set the colored image and a piece of paper with a knit-like pattern on a rose panel with machine stitched edges, angling the panels to add interest. A white button, threaded with pink baker’s twine, sits at the bottom of the image panel.  I added a pair of pink grosgrain ribbon tabs at the opposite side of the image panel to balance the design.

Materials Used:
Moonlight Whispers Angie and Kimmie's Fun Sentiments stamp sets (Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Regal Rose and Pink Pirouette cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Victoria Park-Wortley Village designer paper (Lily Bee Design); white flock (Stampendous); white button (Michaels); pink baker’s twine (Divine Twine); pink grosgrain ribbon (Morex); sewing machine
