Fun with Favors

For today's Clear and Simple Stamps group project, the CSS design team is showing off party favor ensembles.  I made a pair of favors for an all-star themed birthday party. I mixed and matched a few different CSS stamp sets and dies to create a box filled with chocolates and a lollipop wrap, too.

The chocolate box is made from the new Party Favor 7 die. The box fits 8 Hershey’s Nuggets mini chocolate bars. I made the box from Trendsetter Blue cardstock, then added a panel stamped with one of the images from the Stars Plus set to go with the all-star theme. I wrapped some red baker’s twine around the box and tied on a tag cut with the Tags 1 set that I stamped with the matching outline image and a combination of sentiments from two of the Rag Doll stamp sets. Each nugget is wrapped with a white shipping label stamped with one of the labels from the Wrap-a-Round stamp set.

The lollipop wrap is made from two Trendsetter Blue tags cut with the large Tags 1 die. I scored each tag at the bottom and adhered the scored parts together to make the base for the wrapper. After placing a lollipop inside, stick end up, I used baker’s twine to secure the lollipop and tags. To bring in the star theme, I die cut a True Blue Fan circle and added it to the front of the lollipop wrap along with a die cut Dare to Be a Diva Red star.

For more fun with favors, don’t miss what the rest of the CSS team has created for today’s group project. Here’s where to find them:
