Retro Sketches #54-Berry Best Wishes

I'm back for week 2 of my stint as March's guest designer at Retro Sketches. This week, we’re using a sketch based on one of Kasia’s fabulous creations, seen here.

I used the same basic layout, just resized to a standard A2 sized card, for my design. The trio of images across the cardfront are the strawberries from the WPlus9 Fresh Picked stamp set.  I die cut the berries using the coordinating die set and stamped the two-step berry image on the pieces, then used dimensional dots to adhere them to a white panel.

I wrapped some hemp twine around the panel, securing it with a bow, then added the "berry best wishes" sentiment over the twine, using more dimensional dots so the words would be raised over the twine.  The panel is layered on celery and red mats, then set on a green dotted paper panel with machine stitched edges.  I set the assembled panel on a matching green card base.

Be sure to stop by the Retro Sketches blog for all the challenge details and for more inspiration from the talented design team.
