You're My Favorite

Here’s my card for the latest Ten Minute Craft Dash. I love the color combination—aqua, coral, and kraft!

I kept things super clean and simple, using an aqua card base with a strip of kraft cardstock along the bottom. I stamped a trio of circles from Papertrey Ink’s Sketched Circles set on the cardfront in inks matching—or as close to matching as I had—the challenge colors. I used Versafine inks for a nice, crisp impression on the colored cardstock. Each circle is accented with a single gold sequin.

The “you’re my favorite” sentiment from the Mama Elephant Smitten set is stamped in the open space next to the dots. To bring in just a bit more sparkle to go with the sequins, I ran a strip of gold glitter tape at the top of the kraft strip. I called it quits then and checked the clock on my phone—7 minutes and 42 seconds from start to finish. Not bad!

Materials Used:
Sketched Shapes stamp set (Papertrey Ink); Smitten stamp set (Mama Elephant); Versafine Pink Grapefruit, Aquatic Splash, and Gingerbread inks (Tsukineko); Sea Glass cardstock (Avery Elle); gold glitter tape (American Crafts); gold sequins (Michaels)
