Sunshine on a Cloudy Day
Here's a super clean and simple design for this week's sketch at Clean and Simple Stamping. A few die cut pieces and a coordinating stamp set, both from Clear and Simple Stamps, was all it took to put this one together.
I represented the row of elements across the cardfront with a bunch of die cut clouds. To add some interest to the simple design, the clouds were embossed with a dotted pattern before they were arranged on the light blue panel. I also popped three of the clouds up with foam tape. For some sparkle, I randomly arranged a few iridescent sequin "raindrops" underneath the line of clouds.
The "you are my sunshine on a cloudy day" sentiment from the Cloudy Days Sentiments set is stamped underneath the line of clouds in navy blue ink. The navy matches the navy blue card base and helps to tie all the elements together.
