Color Throwdown 256-Thinking of You

It’s time for another Color Throwdown! This week’s challenge is hosted by Joan. She’s chosen a lovely color palette of Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, and Very Vanilla for us to try.

I took my cue from the flowers in the color inspiration photo and used flowers from the WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals stamp set for my image panel. I stamped a pair of flowers and leaf clusters on matching die cut images and arranged them on the round panel, using dimensional dots on one flower to add interest. I dotted the center of each flower with a dab of Liquid Pearls.  The set’s “thinking of you” sentiment is stamped on the panel in green ink.

The finished panel is set on a cream cardfront with green striped patterned paper and a pair of fishtail flag strips. I don’t have much Pale Plum cardstock left in my stash, so I used just a tiny strip that you can see peeking out from underneath the knotted piece of ivory faux suede ribbon at the bottom of the image panel.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD256.

Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and our August guestie, Kendra Wietstock.
