You're the Icing on My Cupcake
Sneaky Peek week continues today at The Cat’s Pajamas with a look at the new One Cupcake stamp set. I used the new set along with this week’s Mojo Monday sketch for this sweet design.
I colored the bunny and cupcake image with Copic markers and carefully cut it out. It’s adhered to a round panel with foam tape. The image is set on a pale pink panel with darker rose chevron patterned pieces adhered at opposite corners. I added the sentiment on another round panel and accented it with a pink twine tied button. A trio of notch-ended strips layered over the panel in the top left corner of the card balances out the design.
Once everything was in place, I went back and dotted the cupcake image with some Pink Pearl Liquid Pearls for dimension. I’ve learned the hard way to leave that little detail for last . . .
