Coffee and Friends

Here's my card for this month's Reverse Confetti color challenge.  The colors are red, pink, and lime.  If you take a close look, you can see the tiny bit of green on the patterned paper!

Coffee and Friends-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse ConfettiI used the Be a Barista set for my card.  I colored the coffee cup with Copic markers and stamped the coffee with Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink.  The pigment ink looks great as coffee!

I carefully cut the cup out, then used foam tape to adhere it to the patterned paper panel on top of a piece of white paper doily.  The pattern is a delicate, feminine floral print.  I machine stitched the edges of the patterned panel before adhering it to the pink card base for a nice, finished look.  I cut two fishtail flag strips from red and pink cardstock scraps and stamped the set's friendship sentiment on the red one.  The ends of the strips are tucked underneath the edge of the coffee cup.  I accented the cup with a pink button tied with a little natural twine.  The final touch was a pretty pink flourish extending out from the top of the cup as steam.
