Enjoy the Beauty of the Season
Here’s a sweet seasonal design inspired by the current Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge’s “sweet snowflakes” theme. I incorporated a pretty snowflake motif into my wintery design.
I used the Lil’ Inker Designs Circles and Diamonds Stitched Pattern die to make a perforated pattern on a shimmery white cardstock panel. The pattern reminds me of a quilt, which is the perfect motif for a wintery design. Each diamond was filled in with the matching solid diamond shape from the Darling Diamonds set, then topped with a darker teal blue snowflake. The center of each flake was dotted with a bit of Crystal Stickles for even more sparkle.
I stamped the “enjoy the reason for the season” sentiment in teal ink on an aqua panel After matting the sentiment on a teal panel and knotting a piece of white satin ribbon around it, I adhered it to the bottom of the stamped panel. The finished panel is adhered to a coordinating teal card base.
Materials Used:
Folk Art Flurries stamp set (WPlus9); Darling Diamonds and Winter Greetings stamp sets, Circles and Diamonds Stitched Pattern Die (Lil' Inker Designs); Party Teal Dawn cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Sno Cone ink (My Favorite Things); Memento Teal Zeal ink (Tsukineko); Crystal Stickles (Ranger); white satin ribbon (Michaels)
